Batman: Brave and the Bold  


At the San Diego Comic-Con today, Cartoon Network and Warner Bros. Animation presented their new animated series, "Batman: The Brave and the Bold," premiering in the fall. Superhero Hype! is giving you an exclusive online look at what the audience at the Con saw followed by an exclusive interview with producer and character designer James Tucker and voice director Andrea Romano.

In "Batman: The Brave and the Bold," the latest interpretation of the classic Batman franchise, our caped crusader is teamed up with heroes from across the DC Universe, delivering nonstop action and adventure with a touch of comic relief. Blue Beetle, Green Arrow, Aquaman and countless others will get a chance to uphold justice alongside Batman. DMX Raps outside courthouse



After pleading not guilty to felony identity theft and felony theft charges in a Phoenix courtroom on Thursday, DMX started rapping for reporters after he left the hearing. Asked for a comment on his latest charges DMX rapped, "If and when you ever fall down, get back up. . . . Stand for something or fall for everything. Wait for the right pitch, you'll miss every swing..." before being pulled away by his attorney.

Police: Paparazzi, guards, fight at Jolie chateau  

PARIS - It sounds like a scene from "Fight Club."

French police say camouflaged paparazzi who managed to get onto the grounds of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's chateau in southern France on Thursday fought with the Hollywood couple's guards. Both the paparazzi and the Jolie-Pitt's head of security confirmed the confrontation but gave widely different versions of events.

Heather Locklear Got Daily Calls From Ex Richie Sambora in Rehab

Heather Locklear’s ex-husband Richie Sambora (who struggled with alcoholism) called her daily during her recent four-week stint in rehab for depression and anxiety, the Chicago Sun-Times reports. (The paper claims she also may have been treated for prescription drug issues.)

It is among the revelations a source at the clinic tells the paper.

The source says that Locklear, 46, told the other patients at the Arizona facility that she felt the world was closing in on her before she sought help. The source adds that Locklear felt people expected her “to be perfect, always beautiful.”

During her stay, the source says Locklear “couldn’t have been warmer or more approachable. There was no diva behavior. She was totally genuine, down-to-earth and warm.”

She often enjoyed riding horses. She even told patients that she wanted to make a Western film “so I can better work on my riding skills,” the insider says. At one point during rehab, Locklear was overheard singing and said she’d love to record an album, the source says.

She also kept a daily journal and told other patients that she’s working on a couple of books, including a memoir and “a coffee table-style book about design,” the source says.

In addition to the daily calls from Sambora, her current beau, actor Jack Wagner — whom the source says she could wed “soon” — visited her several times.

But it was her daughter Ava, 10, who “helped Heather get through the program. She knew that little girl was back home waiting for her, and she talked about her constantly.”

The source adds that Locklear has also watched Denise Richards’ reality show.

“Heather thinks the show is a riot,” the source says, “but only because it makes Denise look like an idiot.”

James McAvoy will reportedly pick up £12million to star in two sequels to this summer’s blockbuster film Wanted.

Hollywood bosses have given the go-ahead to the action thrillers in which Scottish McAvoy, 29, plays office nerd-turned-assassin Wesley Gibson.

A studio insider said: “It’ll be the biggest payday of his career. There’s no way they could do the sequels without him.”

Angelina Jolie will also feature in the sequels, reprising her role as hit-woman Fox.

Britney Spears' $200,000 Deficit  


Britney Spears is in the red, and I don’t mean lipstick or anything sexy.

Her Britney Spears Foundation has a deficit — nearly $200,000 to be precise.

The foundation’s Form 900 tax filing has just arrived, and it shows that Spears came up short $195,445 for the year 2006.


Total revenue was $148,614. But total expenses came to $344,063.

Among the expenses were two salaries that each came to a little less than $40,000. One employee is Corina O. Biggar, who’s run Britney’s foundation from her home in Massachusetts. The other is listed as John McMahon, a former New York City cop.

In 2002, according to the Wall Street Journal, McMahon was involved in scandal concerning the Spears fund and the Boston-based Giving Back Fund, the umbrella group managing her donor-advised charity.

According to the Journal, the Giving Back Fund "alleged that the agent for Ms. Spears threatened to move the pop star's charity giving to another firm if the fund manager refused to hire her friend John McMahon, a former New York City police officer. The dispute was concluded with a settlement."

Another $50,000 was listed as a contribution for Britney’s summer camp for kids — although no one seems to know what’s happened to the camp, where it is, or what kids attend it — if any.

Then there’s a big chunk — $214,930 — that’s annotated as miscellaneous grants. Unfortunately, none of those grants is specified. In 2005, the Spears Foundation gave away nearly $600,000 to a variety of arts and AIDS groups and New Orleans relief efforts as well as $30,000 to the Kabbalah Center in Los Angeles.

The 2006 tax return is signed by an accountant in Tennessee. Britney’s older brother Bryan, age 30, signed the return in his role as president on Dec. 1, 2007.

The woman who answered the phone at the Tennessee CPA’s office had no comment and couldn’t answer where Spears’ money had gone or whether the summer camp was still in business.

Lindsay Says Sam's "Not Single"  


Looks like Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson are slowly but surely confirming they are, in fact, a couple.

The two were partying it up last night at the Shrine nightclub at MGM Foxwoods, and when it was time for DJ Sam to step up to the stage, Linz took over the announcing duties and shared a lot more than fans were expecting.

"When the lights came out, she announced Sam and said, 'And no she's not single!'" an eyewitness tells OK!.

And our source says the hipster DJ couldn't help but let her gooey emotions show in her set either.

Sam played a load of slow smoochy songs, and lingered on Leona Lewis' "Bleeding Love" for much longer than other records.

Earlier that day, the nearly inseparable duo were "holding hands, acting all lovey-dovey around the MGM Grand," the source adds.

The declaration is just the latest sign of the two being way more that just best friends. Two weeks ago, Sam raised eyebrows when she changed her Facebook relationship status from "single" to "in a relationship." She didn't specify who that special someone is, but didn't quell talk by uploading a profile picture of her and the actress at Disneyland.

Lindsay is doing her part to drop hints too. A day after celebrating her 22nd birthday with Sam by her side, Lindsay appeared on Ryan Seacrest's radio show, telling him she would like to spend the next year "being with the person that I care about."

MGM has signed Darren Aronofsky to direct and David Self to write a new installment for its “RoboCop” franchise. Aronofsky, the director of The Fountain, and Self, the writer of Road to Perdition, make a formidable creative team, fast tracking the RoboCop motion picture and spotlighting it as one of the most anticipated new films for 2010. 

In making the announcement Parent said: “Darren is undeniably one of the most talented, original and visceral film makers, and David is one of the greatest writers in Hollywood. All of us at MGM couldn’t be more excited.” 

Phoenix Pictures’ Chairman and CEO Mike Medavoy said: “After making the first ‘RoboCop‘ at Orion more than 20 years ago, I’m thrilled to be helping to return this character to the screen with our partners at MGM and through the eyes of Darren Aronofsky and David Self.”

Raz B was spotted at the 2nd Annual Producers Ball at Blvd 3 the night before the BET Awards and according to Stylerazzi, he was telling everyone in sight that he was engaged to his girlfriend Amanda Pratt. According to wireimage she’s an actress but she’s definitely not googlealbe (no offense to folks who can’t say “google me”). I’m glad Raz B has found someone special. Every since those boys been dealing with Chris Stokes ( Raz B along with Quindon Tarver have revealed that they were molested), every one of them have been trying to defend their sexual orientation. Just because you are a dude that was molested by another male, does not make you a homo. So stop that! Congrats to him..
